The blocker board has a slight upward curve to provide defections up and over the goal and still offer maximum blocking surface. Goalies using the ‘hands forward style’ will receive additional protection of the first finger, grip fingers, thumb and inside wrist. This unique blocker provide all the protection and control demanded by today’s Pro Fly goalie. Because of the paddle down style of play the blocker hand has become more susceptible to injury. The added protection to the thumb side of the hand makes this blocker a premier choice. The toe of the blocker is tapered to allow the hand to position lower to the ice. The blocker insert is profiled to deflect the puck up and over while providing against shock injury through the board to the back of the hand.
